The house as a landscape:
The concept of Kikula is to create a landscape for children to explore. Limited to the outside space to a simple geometry- a circle-  room-creating  objects like a roof, stair, tunnel, tower, floor, opening, wall and windows expand from the inside a diverse accessible microcosm but also keep their unique geometric character as a side by side of distinctive, recognizable “things”.

They become the first points of the orientation on the imaginary map, in their environment on a smaller scale a diverse interaction of different fundamental room experiences arises:

intimacy- openness, brightness – darkness, boundary – visibility, silence – action.
