Creating an attractive living space with three maisonett apartments the existing roof opens up to 45 degrees roof angle. The enlargement of the building at Breitenfurterstraße and the courtyard  contain two retail shops and 23 apartments. A toddler playground will be positioned in the courtyard.
The concept of the facade tries to create a flowing gap 

between the existing buildings and the enlargement. The positioning of the newly created rows of windows in the extension on the right and left will be adapted to the existing Gründerzeit facades. Centrally of the enlargement a three-dimensional metal climbing scaffold for a green facade was planned to generate a participated microclimate.
